新規会員の募集 New Membership Recruitment


学会員になると次のようなたくさんのメリットがあります。

  • 学会大会に安価で参加できる。例えば2023年度は学生会員 の大会参加費は無料。2024年度は学生会員早期申し込み参加費は1千円。
  • 大会内においてポスター発表賞(筆頭発表者のみ)を受けることができる (35歳以下の正会員と学生会員)。副賞１万円*。
  • 大会内において口頭発表賞(筆頭発表者のみ)を受けることができる (35歳以下の正会員と学生会員) 。副賞１万円*。
  • 海外で開催される甲殻類関係の国際学会へ旅費の参加補助を受けることができる(年１名)。 40歳以下の正会員と学生会員が対象。おおむね10～20万円程度(開催地による)*。
  • 学会誌Crustacean Researchの論文のページチャージが、刷り上がり20ページ以下は無料。
  • 会員連絡誌Cancerに筆頭著者あるいは連絡者として投稿できる。
  • 学会賞(論文賞)(筆頭著者のみ)を受けることができる (論文発表の時点で39歳以下の正会員と学生会員 )。　副賞5万円*
  • 学会編の書籍に執筆者として参画できる。
  • 学会員同士での情報交換・交流ができる。

New Membership Recruitment

Becoming a member of the society offers many benefits, including the following:

  • You can participate in the annual meeting at a discounted rate. For example, in 2023, participation fee  of the annual meeting for student members was free. In 2024, early registration for student members costed 1,000 yen.

  • You are eligible to receive the Poster Presentation Award (for first authors only) at the annual meeting (for regular members under 35 and student members). A prize of 10,000 yen*.

  • You are eligible to receive the Oral Presentation Award (for first authors only) at the annual meeting (for regular members under 35 and student members). A prize of 10,000 yen*.

  • You may receive travel subsidies for participating in international crustacean-related conferences (The Crustacean Society Summer Meeting, International Crustacean Congress and so on) held overseas (one recipient per year). This is available to regular members and student members under 40, with subsidies typically ranging from 100,000 to 200,000 yen* depending on the conference location.

  • The page charge for articles published in the journal Crustacean Research is waived for manuscripts of 20 pages or fewer.

  • You can submit articles as the first author or corresponding author for the society's newsletter Cancer.

  • You are eligible to receive the Society Award (Best Paper Award) (for first authors only) if you are a regular member or student member under 39 at the time of publication. A prize of 50,000 yen*.

  • You can contribute as an author to books published by the society.

  • You can exchange information and interact with fellow society members.
