Prof. Neil Cumberlidge が TCSERA を受賞

その時の招待講演者の方のニュースです。

Northern Michigan University のProfessor Neil Cumberlidge が2023年度のThe Crustacean Society Excellence in Research Award (TCSERA)を受賞されました。世界でもっとも顕著な甲殻類の生物学の研究成果をあげた方に国際甲殻類学会が授与している賞です。

おめでとうございます！

Professor Cumberlidge の研究分野は、アフリカ大陸に生息するサワガニ類の系統分類で、アフリカのサワガニ類の驚くべき高い多様性を明らかにしてきました。

受賞記念講演は、10th International Crustacean Congress held May 22-26 in Wellington, New Zealandで行われました。

なおこの方は2019年に　The Chinese University of Hong Kongで行われたTCS Mid-year Meeting in Hong Kong　で　日本甲殻類学会が企画提供した　シンポジウム　Frontiers in Crustacean Biology: Asian Perspectives: Part II　でもご講演いただきました。ありがとうございました。
